We had folks from several states. We had great fellowship, teaching, worship, breakout discussions, and prayer. Plus, fun icebreakers, games, and a movie on Saturday night. Welcome to Connected in Christ Online Live Singles Retreat

We are so excited to be hosting our first online LIVE singles retreat open to all single adults, anywhere in the world. Our theme: Engage: With God, With Others, With Life. From the comfort of your own home, join us for a weekend of drawing closer to God and each other. 

Dates: August 18th-20th via Zoom
Time: Start 7pm CDT on Friday; ends Sunday at noon (see schedule to the right)
Speaker: Author, Teacher & Nut, Kris Swiatocho,
Director of The Singles Network Ministries
Retreat includes: Speaker, fun interactive games, mixers, big and small group discussions, and workshops on a variety of topics. We are even going to show a movie on Saturday night with afterchat.
Host: Connected in Christ Singles, a ministry of Houston's First Baptist, Houston, TX
Emcee: Spoony Witherspoon and team
Cost: $30 per person. (Same price whether you attend part or all). Need to cancel? Sorry, we do not offer refunds due to expenses on our end, after August 1st, but you are welcome to send someone in your place. 
Note: Once you register/pay, you will be sent a Zoom link and a list of workshop titles and times to sign-up for. Not great at using Zoom? Let us know when you register. We will be offering a free tutorial on this date August 11th, 7pm, CDT.

Workshops options:
  1. Terri Davis: Getting Real with Your Singleness
    Description: Terri will discuss being real in your singleness and how she has thrived as a never-married, single adult, dealing with life as it comes, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
  2. Kris Swiatocho: Telling Your Own Story: Evangelism 101
    Description: Everyone has more than one story about how Christ has changed their lives. In this workshop Kris will share an easy way to share your story without fear, conflict or confrontation. 
  3. Spoony Witherspoon: Open Discussion on Being a Disciple of Christ (and what that looks like.)
    Description: Spoony will share a little about her discipleship story and lead an open discussion about what daily actions a person could take to make positive life changes and grow stronger in their walk with God.
  4. Becky Green:  "Make the Best of Your Future" Matthew 6:33
    Description: As a Realtor being in the Real Estate business for over 40 years, I feel my purpose is to educate the public and help in the buying or selling side to be as stress-free as possible. Everyone can be a good steward
