Top 5 Qualities of an Effective Singles Ministry Leaderby Kris Swiatocho, The Singles Network Ministries Director
Leading a singles ministry is more than organizing events or hosting Bible studies—it’s stepping into the lives of men and women who carry unique joys, challenges, and stories. A great singles ministry leader doesn’t just show up; they shepherd, encourage, guide, and reflect Christ in every interaction. Here are the Top 5 Qualities that set strong single ministry leaders apart:
1. Compassion That Listens Singles come from a wide range of backgrounds—never married, divorced, widowed, single parents, and those healing from deep wounds. Over the past two years, we have had the privilege of leading seven mothers and grandmothers to the Lord. Our prayer is to see a break in the generational cycle of poverty, ignorance, and child marriages. Read More We appreciate your donations!

Usually, most holidays aren’t too difficult because you can find somewhere to go—serving at a soup kitchen, visiting friends, or joining family. And while New Year’s Eve or Valentine’s Day can be brutally lonely, there’s often a singles gathering or event that helps ease the ache for companionship.
