Hmmm, well, right now I have been in a rest mode..meaning, I have not had any traveling work since Dec 11th and I don't have anything else till mid Feb. So I have been able to rest, catch up on sleep, time with my mom, friends, my home and be at my church.
Psalm 62:5 Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.
OK...perception. Perception is how am I seeing the situation I am in. Well, I could see it as hopeless, discouraging, and fearful but then God reminded me to really look at my situation. Why would it be hopeless, discouraging or fearful? Especially when I am in the palm of His Hand. When God is in control? When God has made me promises of hope, encouragement and not to fear. So maybe its not what I see but its my attitude? Yes, things are not looking that great...from my perspective. I need to ask God to see my situation with His eyes.
Philippians 2:5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Finally, healing. God reminded me that I was still healing from my dad's death. Perhaps the reason I dont' have much work has to do with God allowing time to heal me. I have a tendency to go from one project to the next and not even breath in between. God really needed me to stop this time.
Psalm 25:16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Thank you Lord for allowing me to see your word new every day. Thank you for teaching me something new every day. Thank you for using me to do your work.
