After church I headed to Sunday school where my class was chattering about the morning message. "Can you believe what Pastor Bryan said?" "Wow, I didn't know he had it in him." I just chuckled under my breath as I was encourage by what Pastor Bryan had to say. Now you are thinking, goodness Kris, what did he say that was so alarming. Nothing guys, other than what we should expect to hear from God's appointed Shepperd(s) over us. The church needs to stop expecting our pastors to do all the work. Its up to us to get mobilized to reach the lost for Christ. It's up to us to use the gifts God has given us. It's up to us to stop being lazy. It's up to us.
After church I found Pastor Bryan and shook his hand, telling him I loved his sermon. I also told him about the class talk and how others were encouraged too. I said, Pastor Bryan, even well-seasoned Christians need to be reminded of what its all about. Thanks for the courage it took to say it.
When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:
