Why do you think God would need to bring up anxiety as a subject matter to all of our situations?
Because he knows that we, as human beings worry about everything. We can't stand to be out of control. We can't stand to not know what he is doing in our lives. We can't stand that he may make us go out of our comfort zone. We simply do not like to be uncomfortable. But wait a minute, are you really comfortable while you are being anxious? I have always heard that worrying about something is like being in a rocking chair, you don't get anywhere but it gives you something to do.
So when has worrying added a minute to your life? When has it solve any problems?
Q: So what are we to do in all situations in life based on Philippians 4:6?
Q: How can prayer help you with your anxiety?
Q: How can talking to God help you?
Q: How can being thankful for your situation (fears and all) help you?
When give our stuff over to God, when we go to him in prayer, trusting him for the results, we then get peace. This peace is a result of the ignition, the spark of turning it over to Christ. Let's continue to ignite our walk with God.
