Format Options
a. Bootcamp: Kris Swiatocho, Director of The Singles Network Ministries is your only speaker. It’s a one-day event.
-One large room with round tables preferably -8:30-3:30 format with lunch -Band optional expense by host church -Door prizes/Vendors optional -Break-outs with small group discussion b. Bootcamp: Same as above but it’s a two-day event. On Friday night a felt need topic taught. -One large room with round tables preferably (option of only chairs on Friday night) -Friday: 7-9:30 includes fellowship time; Saturday: 8:30-3:30 format with lunch -Band optional expense by host church -Door prizes/Vendors optional -Break-outs with small group discussion c. Bootcamp: Same as “a” or “b” with the addition of a break out session using local speakers* on Saturday. -One large room with round tables preferably (option of only chairs on Friday night) -Friday: 7-9:30 includes fellowship time; Saturday: 8:30-3:30 format with lunch and break out session usually after lunch. -Band optional expense by host church -Door prizes/Vendors optional -Break-outs with small group discussion d. Standard Conference: Kris Swiatocho, Director of the Singles Network as your keynote with 3 break out session on Saturday using local speakers. Again, optional Friday night. -One large room with round tables preferably (option of only chairs on Friday night) -Friday: 7-9:30 includes fellowship time; Saturday: 8:30-3:30 format with lunch and break out sessions. It's up to you to how many sessions and on what topics. -Band optional expense by host church -Door prizes/Vendors optional -Break-outs with small group discussion *Local speakers: We encourage the use of the local speakers and experts in singles ministry to save money and to help utilize their talent. It also helps to connect leaders and pastors. BREAK OUTS: When there is a break out session option, we usually offer at least one felt need workshop per hour for singles to attend that are not in leadership. Ideas for break out sessions for singles, leaders and pastors would be single parenting, divorce recovery, prayer life, dating 101, friendship, etc…. | Be A Host Church
Navigate Leadership Conference can be simple to complex depending on your resources.
Navigates only goal is the help singles, leaders and pastors start, grow and maintain their singles ministries. So whether you choose a one or two day event, bringing in a band, have the meal catered or prepared at your church, provide dollar tree door prizes or gift cards, its is totally up to you. Navigate has been very successful in the past years because it brings leaders together to network, learn and be encouraged. What Kris/The Singles Network gives to you: -Kris to be keynote and breakout speaker (as applicable) -Kris to assist in every stage of the process of the event from planning to marketing to day of as needed -Kris to set up basic info on the The Singles Network website, update it, etc...if needed for your location (set up on your own website is encouraged) -Kris to design and supply any marketing pieces originals as needed to promote locally (you would have to duplicate if you are doing a mailing) Note: Your church may develop its own marketing material, however you must use the logo and theme. -Kris to assist in what the decorations could look like or be based on other Navigates -Kris to assist in icebreakers/break out material -Kris to provide any power point/video's needed -Kris to provide program for you to make copies (again, you are welcome to develop your own program keeping in mind the logo and theme design) Funding: Navigate is designed to be self-supporting, meaning, your pay your bills out of registration fees. To keep your cost low, use local break out speakers only. Use house bands, get door prizes donated, do deli style for lunch (get food donated), make your own decorations, etc...However, you may have a budget that allows you to underwrite some of the registrations (including your own leadership team) and some of the expenses. Please call Kris to discuss financial obligations. Responsibilities of host church/ministry: -Provide facilities for main sessions, breakouts, and meals -Duplicate any marketing materials (if you do a mailing) -Duplicate program for the event (again, original provided as pdf by Kris) -Provide Praise band if need be at your cost outside of The Singles Network fee. -Provide bags/envelopes or folder and a pen to give out on the day of (you could get some of this donated). Note: Optional items specific to the theme could be provided as well such as coffee mugs, cups, give-a-ways, material from other churches/ministries, candy, toys, etc... -Provide volunteers (should meet together to discuss details and be praying) to help in greeting, registration, food prep, set up/clean up, decorations, bag assembly, speaker assistants* -Provide food/setup/clean up -Provide maps and anything else of church for inclusion in program -Provide tech for sound/video -Provide speaker honorarium/gifts -Work with Kris for all the details *If you do a break out session option, having an assistant for each speaker is welcomed. |
