Recently I was on tour in the UK, speaking on my new book, "Jesus, Single Like Me." I had a wonderful host named Janet Wolfe, seen here with me. Janet is the singles leader at the Arc Church in London. Janet set up all my tour dates, organized all my travel, food and details of my trip. I was so blessed to have her in my life.

While traveling and speaking, I was simply amazing at the openness of every person and church I visited. Singles were hungry to learn about the Lord. They were excited that a single adult, like them was speaking to them. They were also encouraged to hear someone talk about Jesus being single. After the completion of my trip, I looked back and realized that singles are same everywhere. We may drive on different sides of the roads, speak differently or have a different color skin but all the same. We have the same desires, dreams and hopes for the future. Most all singles want to be married. Most all are searching and praying. Most all singles are afraid to say so. Thank you Lord at the opportunity to encourage single adults in the UK. To challenge them that while on their search to find the "one" that they don't miss "THE ONE." Thank you Lord for those who opened up their homes, their lives, their pocketbook and their hearts to me.

Acts 16:14
One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message.

I was recently in England on tour with my newest book, "Jesus, Single Like Me." I had one particular host named David King (seen on your left). David leads a singles ministry in Birmingham, England as well as networks, educates and trains churches on how to start and grow their singles ministries.

Upon my visit to the UK, David opened up his life and his ministry to help host my visit, networking me with several churches and ministries, including the "Network", a regional ministry that caters to events for single adults. Sue and James, pictured above lead this ministry. I had the honor of meeting with them for 4 hours one day last week, sharing, networking and praying for our ministries. "God is moving," said James. "He is calling our ministry to go the next step, the next level." I was so excited to hear this news. It's so easy to become a social group and forget who created the social, the event.

Remember, God loves socials but wants us to use them to get people to Him. Thank you Sue and James and the work of David, who all sacrifice their time and energy to help reach this lost world. Thanks for caring about singles and for being obedient to His call on your life.
